<div>On July 2 When the temperatures were over 100, Luis Fernando was out in the fields of southern NJ working - picking the fruits and vegetables that Grace our tables when he suffered a severe heat stroke. He is still currently hospitalized and faces a long road to recovery.

<div>Luis Fernando, or Fer, as he is affectionately known by his family, is just 20 years old. This summer marks his second season working in the fields. Like many young people who travel far from their families in search of a better future, Fer has made great sacrifices and is the primary provider for his family back home in Mexico.

<div>He has big hopes and dreams for his future and has been working tirelessly to achieve them through hard work and determination. For now, those plans are on hold as he fights to recover from this medical emergency. However, with your support, the unconditional love of his family, and God's grace, we are confident that Fer will recover and be able to accomplish all that he has set out to achieve.
