<div>I normally wouldn’t do something like this, but I’m reaching out because I truly need some support right now.

<div>I’m currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Physical Education at Brooklyn College, working toward becoming a certified PE teacher here in New York. This is something I’ve been fully committed to, and I’ve already completed a full year of the program. I plan to be working full time come September on an Internship Certificate (allows me to work full time as a PE teacher while completing the degree).

<div>This summer, I need to take additional classes to stay on track—but each class costs about $1,400 plus books, and the total is more than I can realistically cover on my own right now. I have managed to save some, but Im reaching out to my community to help pay for the remainder.

<div>Because I’m in school full-time, my ability to work is limited. I’ve been doing what I can, but it hasn’t been enough to keep up with tuition and living expenses. I am currently a substitute teacher, which is not a salary job and does not include benefits.
