<div>Imagine a classroom without walls—where our amazing Alaskan mountains, glacial lakes, and ancient forests become the teachers. Thirty-one Klatt 5th-grade students have the incredible opportunity to attend an immersive outdoor education program in the heart of Alaska, but we need your help to make it happen!

<div>Our 5th grade classrooms will move to Portage Valley for 3 days and 2 nights with Alaska Outdoor School, featuring four guided outdoor field studies and other hands-on STEM activities! They'll be staying at the Begich, Boggs Visitor Center. The Center features exhibits, a theater, classroom, and other versatile spaces and is perched above the shore of Portage Lake in the heart of Portage Valley, where rich cultural and natural history will afford our students an incredible diversity of environments to explore!
