<div>Last June, my eldest, Kindred, found herself perpetually overwhelmed with anxiety and, in response to that, she began purposefully cutting herself. The following months, <strong>I was paying for therapy sessions out of pocket given that I did not have proper health insurance to cover it (t</strong>his is in tandem with speech therapy as well, since Kindred has a history of stuttering). But with other new expenses this year (tutoring/dance/martial arts, etc.), I simply did not have the finances to continue Kindred's therapy sessions past September / October 2025 and this is where Gofundme comes in. Surprisingly, support has been constant and sincere, and frankly, it's quite humbling.
