In early 2025, my brother faced a life-threatening health crisis and was placed on the liver transplant list. After a series of tests, I learned that I am a perfect match to be his live liver donor. I am scheduled to undergo the transplant procedure at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in January 2026. This is a journey I am taking to help save my brother’s life, and I am determined to do everything I can for him and his family.

However, this process comes with significant financial challenges. I will need to travel from Dallas, TX to Pittsburgh, PA multiple times—not only for the surgery itself, but also for follow-up checkups at 3, 6, 12, and 24 months after the procedure. These trips involve expenses for flights, hotels, rental cars, and meals. Additionally, I will be on short-term disability for up to three months, receiving only 60% of my normal salary. This makes it difficult to keep up with my regular bills, especially my mortgage, during my recovery period.

I am reaching out to friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers for support. Any financial help you can provide would mean the world to me. Your generosity will not only help me manage these expenses, but will also play a direct role in saving my brother’s life. By supporting me, you are also supporting his wife, son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren—positively impacting three generations of our family. Thank you so much for considering a donation and for being part of this life-saving journey.
