<div>Kay and Dave have faced more than their share of hardship, but their strength and compassion have always carried them through. Dave, now in his mid-70s, recently suffered his third lung collapse—a life-threatening event that led to a difficult surgery and a long road to recovery. Throughout this ordeal, Kay has never left his side. Their bond began in childhood, grew into love, and led them to build a life together on a horse farm, where they started a therapeutic program for disabled children. Their generosity touched many lives, and volunteers helped their mission thrive until a devastating misunderstanding forced them to leave their home and become homeless in Kentucky.

They are loving, always willing to help wherever they are needed, and have touched countless lives with their compassion. Now, as Dave recovers in rehab and Kay packs up their house, they face another challenge: moving to St. Louis to be near Dave’s children and grandchildren. With Dave’s health so fragile, every moment with family is precious. The financial strain from medical bills, lost income, and the cost of relocating has left them in distress. Kay is determined to keep working and save what she can, but the immediate need for moving expenses and rent is overwhelming. If Dave’s condition worsens, being close to loved ones will mean everything to him.
