<div>Saturday morning, I went out in my yard on a beautiful day to just take a walk. As soon as I came into the yard, I saw a little animal laying lifeless. I approached the animal and realized it was a little female kitty who was barely breathing, so ravaged, so skinny, with flies all over her. I immediately looked to see if she was breathing shallowly. I picked her up and rushed her to the veterinary hospital towards Pittsburgh. The staff was wonderful when I walked in. They took one look at her, and they said, <strong>"stat,"</strong> and took her immediately to the back. She was diagnosed with feline leukemia and is having seizures and has loss of vision at this time . She has been in the hospital for the past two days but is coming along . I went to visit her today, and she was a completely different kitty. The veterinarians still believe she’s not out of the woods yet. Helping this stray cat has been very costly for me as I had to put up $4000 in order for them to start taking care of her. <strong>I believe she’s about one year old and might not have had a home, but she has a lot of folks that love her already and are pulling for her well-being.</strong> The cost is just astronomical, but I could not see this little kitty leave this earth without feeling the love and affection of a family. <strong>Any donation would be much appreciated as I’ve done this from my heart, but in these financial times, it’s very costly for me.</strong> From my understanding, there will be additional veterinary bills. I just could not see this little kitty perish. If there’s anything that you can donate, it would be so greatly appreciated. We named the kitty Kali.
