My name is Kaitlyn, and I’m reaching out for help as I navigate a challenging time in my life. Recently, I began experiencing heart pain that led to several cardiology appointments and a series of tests. During this process, I also discovered that I carry a gene for breast cancer that runs in my family. Because of this, I need surgery to reduce my risk of developing cancer in the future. The costs of these medical needs have quickly added up, and I’m struggling to keep up with both my health expenses and my rent.

 The constant medical appointments have made it impossible for me to work, and without transportation, it’s even harder to manage daily life. I’m now facing the real possibility of eviction by September 1st if I can’t cover my rent. My girlfriend has been a huge emotional support, but financially, I’m on my own. Getting help right now would mean I could stay in my home, continue seeing my cardiologist for essential testing, and move forward with the surgery that could greatly decrease my risk of breast cancer.

 I’m young and still learning how to balance personal life with serious medical challenges. It’s difficult at any age, but I’m determined to get back to a healthy, stable life.
