I am reaching out for help as I navigate a difficult chapter in my life. Recently, I broke my hip and now need to let it heal before I can undergo hip replacement surgery. This injury has made it impossible for me to perform many activities of daily living, and I am struggling to manage on my own. While I have MediCal, I am required to pay a Share of Cost each month, which adds a financial burden during an already challenging time.

 The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering my Share of Cost for in-home supportive services. These services are essential for my day-to-day care, both as I wait for my hip to heal and after the surgery. Having this support will allow me to focus on recovery and regain my independence, knowing that my basic needs are being met.
