<div>Hi everyone, my name is Josybel Morales. I am 26 years old, and this past December, my life changed completely when I received a breast cancer diagnosis.
</div>

<div>Since then, I have fought with everything I have. I went through 16 rounds of chemotherapy, but heartbreakingly, the tumor became resistant to the treatment. To figure out what was happening, I underwent a genetic test, which revealed the underlying cause: a mutation in the PT53 gene that makes the tumor resistant to standard treatments.

<div>To stop the tumor from continuing to grow and spreading, my doctors urgently need me to start a specialized medication called Pertuzumab. The treatment consists of 18 vials given every 21 days.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The financial burden is overwhelming: the first vial costs $7,000, and each of the subsequent 17 vials costs $3,500. Most importantly, once this treatment begins, it cannot be interrupted or paused under any circumstances, as doing so could allow the tumor to develop resistance to this treatment, my last remaining treatment option.

<div>At 26 years old, I have so many dreams left to fulfill, and I am not ready to give up. But I cannot do this alone.
</div>

<div>Hola a todos, mi nombre es Josybel Morales, tengo 26 años y en diciembre recibí un diagnóstico de cáncer de mama que transformó mi vida por completo.

<div>He recibido 16 quimioterapias, pero lamentablemente el tumor se hizo resistente al tratamiento. Para entender qué estaba pasando, me realicé un examen genético y nos dimos cuenta de que hay una alteración en el gen PT53, la cual hace que el tumor sea resistente a todo lo convencional.

<div>Actualmente, para evitar que el tumor siga creciendo, necesito urgente un medicamento llamado Pertuzumab. El tratamiento completo consta de 18 ampollas aplicadas cada 21 días. Los costos son muy elevados: la primera ampolla tiene un valor de 7.000y las siguientes 17 cuestan 3.500 cada una.

<div>A mis 26 años tengo muchos sueños por cumplir y muchas ganas de vivir, pero esta es una carga económica muy pesada para mi familia y para mí.
