He tenido el privilegio de conocerlos durante los últimos meses gracias a la organización ourBRIDGE for KIDS, y estoy ayudándoles con esta campaña de GoFundMe porque José tiene acceso limitado a internet y no habla inglés.

<div>José, su esposa y sus dos hijos pequeños vinieron a Estados Unidos con la esperanza de encontrar un futuro mejor. <strong>La razón principal fue su hijo Ángel, quien nació con hidrocefalia. Ángel tiene 8 años, no tiene movilidad y necesita cuidados constantes. </strong>Estuvo bajo cuidados de hospicio con Cardinal Kids aquí en Charlotte.

<div>A pesar de todos sus esfuerzos, la familia ha enfrentado muchas dificultades: no han logrado conseguir trabajo estable, vivienda fija ni transporte. Desde su llegada, los cuatro han compartido una sola habitación con una cama. El poco dinero que reciben se destina al alquiler, algo de comida, fórmula para Ángel y visitas al hospital.

<div><strong>Por estas razones, José ha tomado la muy difícil decisión de regresar con su familia a Honduras. En este momento, están solo esperando recibir la confirmación de su vuelo de regreso. </strong>

<div>Mientras tanto, José nos ha pedido ayuda para cubrir algunas necesidades básicas y urgentes. Por eso estamos acudiendo a nuestra comunidad: cualquier tipo de apoyo será de gran ayuda para esta familia.

<div>My name is Lourdes Sanchez, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friends, Jose and his family. I’ve had the privilege of getting to know them over the past few months through ourBRIDGE for KIDS, and I’m helping them with this GoFundMe campaign because Jose has limited internet access and does not speak English.

<div><strong>Jose, his wife, and their two young children came to the U.S. in search of a better future—especially for their son Angel, who was born with hydrocephalus. </strong>Angel is 8 years old, has no mobility, and requires around-the-clock care. He was recently under hospice care with Cardinal Kids here in Charlotte.

<div>Despite their resilience, the family has faced overwhelming challenges: no stable work, housing, or transportation. Since arriving, the four of them have been living in one small room with a single bed. Their limited income goes toward rent, food, formula for Angel, and hospital visits.

<div><strong>Because of these hardships, Jose has made the incredibly difficult decision to return to Honduras with his family. </strong>Right now, they are waiting to hear when their return flight will be confirmed.

<div>In the meantime, Jose has asked for help covering some urgent, basic needs. We’re turning to our community because even small contributions can make a big difference.
