<div>Hi, my name is Jimmy Escobar. Many of you know me as the owner of Dania Beach Fitness, where I’ve dedicated my life to training, motivating, and building a healthier community here in Dania Beach.

<div>Today, I’m reaching out with deep humility. I am currently battling Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. I have been undergoing chemotherapy treatments, which have taken a heavy toll on me physically and emotionally. While my health insurance covers most of my medical expenses, it does not cover everything — and the uncovered costs, combined with the need to keep my gym afloat, are overwhelming.

<div>Running a small business while fighting cancer is not easy. But I refuse to give up — because I believe in life, in family, in community, and in the power of fitness to change lives.

<div>Hoy les escribo con mucha humildad. Actualmente estoy luchando contra un Cáncer de Páncreas en Etapa 4. He estado recibiendo tratamientos de quimioterapia, los cuales han sido muy duros física y emocionalmente. Aunque mi seguro médico cubre la mayoría de mis gastos, no lo cubre todo — y los costos restantes, sumados al esfuerzo de mantener abierto mi gimnasio, resultan abrumadores.

<div>Lidiar con una enfermedad tan fuerte y, a la vez, mantener un pequeño negocio no es fácil. Pero me niego a rendirme, porque creo en la vida, en la familia, en la comunidad y en el poder del ejercicio para cambiar vidas.
