<div>My name is Veronica. <strong>I am raising funds to help my Dad, Jerry Harter, so that he can rebuild his home in Havilah, CA.</strong> My dad is a victim of the Borel Forest Fire, a fire that has devastated more than 55,000 acres in the Kern River Valley area.

<div>Jerry and his wife, April, have been residents of the Historical Town of Havilah since 1997. April, our loving mother and our family rock, passed away 6 years ago. My siblings and I miss her everyday, but our sadness is only a fraction of that which our father feels.

<div>Now, because of the fire, Jerry not only lost his house, but his well-being. My dad suffers from dementia, and because of this tragedy, he is now experiencing constant depression. He feels entirely lost, confused and sad. He needs his home.

<div>We, his children, are doing everything in our power to get him back to his property, his safe place, as soon as possible.
</div>

<div>My father is a US ARMY veteran, and has spent his life contributing as a construction professional.
</div>

<div><strong>Our goal is to raise funds so that we can move dad home.</strong> All proceeds will go to the effort of making his property habitable, and to help fund a mobile home for him to live in.
