<div><strong>June 2026 Update</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hello! Thank you all so much — I am truly grateful for this blessing and for everyone’s continued support on GoFundMe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I wanted to share a life and education update with you. When I received my last donations, I used it toward my living expenses and school fees. It sustained me for about two months, as most of the funds went toward my education this 2nd semester to complete the school year.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have also been prayerfully considering a change in my course or program. I had narrowed it down to two options — Political Science (Pre-Law) or Physical Therapy (leading to a Doctor of Physical Therapy, DPT) — and after much reflection, I have decided to pursue Physical Therapy. This path will take approximately five more years to complete, including the master’s level work required to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This was not an easy or overnight decision. I have struggled for a long time to find a career path that truly fits me, that I will love, and that will allow me to help my family. I believe God guided me to this final decision as I prepare for the next school year.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am humbly asking for your continued support as I work toward finishing my degree. I expect to complete my undergraduate degree around 2030, followed by one additional year for my master’s degree, putting my full completion around 2031.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and helping make my education possible.
</div>

<div><strong>My story</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Good day,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Jenny. I'm from Bohol in the Philippines. I come from a financially disadvantaged family, and I am the first in my family to go to university.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I was raised in a low-income household. My parents are both non-professionals; my father completed high school education, and my mother completed elementary. Due to their limited educational background, they have only been able to secure low-paying jobs, which has resulted in ongoing financial hardship for our family. I am the fourth child of seven siblings. Two of my siblings are still in school, relying mostly on my parents for support, while the others have already established their own means of livelihood.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At present, I am the only sibling pursuing a university degree. I am enrolled in the University of Bohol, currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. I knew the degree was going to cost more than what my family could afford, but I still decided to give it a go. And the fact that I am studying full-time means there is one person less who can support my family. Despite the financial hardship, I remained determined to continue my education, as earning a degree is essential to improving my family’s future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Due to our financial situation, my family is unable to fully support my educational expenses. By God’s grace, I am currently supporting myself by working while studying. Five months ago, I relocated in order to maintain employment and help cover my tuition fees. However, despite my efforts, my current income is not sufficient to meet the full cost of my tuition and other living expenses each semester.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the moment I am fundraising for 2026. My university tuition and all other education-related expenses will be 100,000 Pesos; that is 2,500 AUD. My rent will cost 3,500 Pesos a month or 42,000 a year; that is 1,050 AUD. My other living costs including food and transport will be 5000 Pesos a month or 60,000 a year; that is 1,500 AUD. I am hoping to raise as much as possible so that I can complete my degree and give back to my community. Any amount you can donate would be a tremendous help and would greatly ease my financial burden, allowing me to focus more on my studies and achieve academic success. I am committed to completing my degree and using my education to contribute positively to my family and society.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since I am in the Philippines, a friend of mine in Australia is receiving the funds on my behalf.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you very much for your time and kind consideration. I sincerely hope you would consider sponsoring me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Respectfully yours,
</div>
<div>Jenny
