<div>On Saturday, July 26, <strong>Irina Kyrshmaru suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm, causing a stroke.</strong> Two procedures were then performed: one to stop the hemorrhaging and one to drain excess fluid, followed by a medically induced coma. Her team of doctors is now slowly removing her from sedation and life support.

<div>As she continues to wake up, they will be assessing her state of physical and mental health to determine the next steps. For certain, Irina is looking at 20+ days in ICU for close monitoring, followed by a minimum 7-week stay in the hospital for additional recovery. Beyond that, she will most likely need in-home care, physical therapy, and speech therapy depending on her state.
