</div>
<div><a href="https://rootedtexas.wordpress.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rooted</a> is working to ease the financial burden faced by our students at UT this rapidly approaching school year. We recently launched a Financial Assistance Program, but student needs far <strong>exceed</strong> our current funds. But we refuse to let them face this challenge alone.

</div>
<div>Fall tuition deposits are due<strong> August 15th</strong>, and every day until then matters. But our fight doesn’t stop there. Donations after the deadline will help us continue supporting students with future fall semester tuition payments and make sure they can enroll in the Spring 2026 semester too.

</div>
<div><strong>HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donate and share widely with your contacts to increase the amount of students we are able to support and get to the finish line.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Each $5,000 donated helps one more student receive the funds to pay their first tuition installment to UT and stay enrolled in their fall semester classes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$150,000 may sound like a lot, but it’s what it will take to keep 30 students from being pushed out of school. Behind each $5,000 is a name, a face, and a future that deserves to continue.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>$5,000</strong> covers one student's tuition installment to stay enrolled this fall.
</div>
<div><strong>$2,500</strong> funds half a tuition payment.
</div>
<div><strong>$1,000</strong> from 5 donors covers one student’s first tuition installment.
</div>
<div><strong>Any amount</strong> brings us closer to keeping another student in school.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation is greatly appreciated! $150,000 will help us get 30 undocumented students stay enrolled at UT.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>HELP US ACHIEVE THESE GOALS:</strong>
</div>
<ul>
<li>Provide financial relief to undocumented students facing out-of-state tuition to pay their initial tuition deposit ($5,000 per student) and confirm their attendance at UT this fall 2025 semester.
</li>
<li>Expand our Financial Assistance Program to support undocumented students beyond the first tuition payment, through Spring 2026 and beyond.
</li>
<li>Help senior undocumented students reach the finish line and graduate.
</li>
<li>Support undocumented underclassmen so they don’t have to give up on college before they begin or halfway through.
</li>
<li>Increase our fundraising reach to support more students.
</li>
</ul>

<div><strong>More about our Financial Assistance Program:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are Rooted, a student organization at UT for immigrant students. We are raising funds for our immigrant students members facing higher tuition rates. We are asking our students members to submit an application to determine need and confirm they are being charged out-of-state tuition. All donations will go to be awarded to our student members that have submitted an application for financial assistance in the form of a check. After, students are instructed to submit documentation confirming the funds distrubuted were used to pay all or a portion of a tuition installement at UT.
