<div>UPDATE: Hallie is receiving rapid care and she has started heavy chemo for the next month, she has been told there will be at least a 2 year process of hospital stays for further chemo followed by a year of maintenance. She is taking this day by day. Please continue to support her for this journey.

<div>At just 21 years old, Hallie has been chasing her dreams and building a future and enjoying life surrounded by family and friends. She has spent her entire life in the softball community and still continues to play slow pitch on a competitive level. This week Hallie became extremely ill and went into the ER, she had a severe sore throat and nothing was helping. She got the worst possible diagnosis of leukemia and now is facing one of life's toughest battles.

<div>This news has completely turned Hallie's world upside down. This ER visit led to a hospitalization for the next four weeks and then treatment of the unknown beyond that. Hallie is now beginning a long and difficult journey through chemotherapy, hospital stays, and endless medical appointments- all while trying to stay strong and positive.
