At her age, I was already dreaming of painting the world with color. <div>Hala... my little flower, broken by war.
</div>

<div>Before all of this devastation, my daughter Hala was preparing for her very first year of kindergarten. She was so excited — every evening, she would carefully pack her tiny school bag, laying out her favorite clothes with a smile that lit up my world.

<div>She loved school. She loved colors, songs, games... she simply loved life.
</div>

</div>
<div>Then the war came.
</div>
<div>We fled our home in search of safety in Rafah — but safety never came.
</div>

<div>Our house was bombed. We barely escaped with our lives.
</div>
<div>Displaced once again, we now live in a tent in Al-Zawaida, trying to hold on to what remains of our lives.

<div>One day, Hala visited her aunt in Khan Younis, hoping to feel a moment of normalcy... of joy.
</div>
<div>But even that brief moment was stolen by violence.
</div>

<div>She was struck in both legs by an explosive bullet.
</div>
<div>Her bones shattered. Her tissues were torn apart.

<div>She screamed, and I cried with her.
</div>
<div>My heart broke into a thousand pieces.

<div>Since that day, Hala has not been able to walk.
</div>
<div>She cannot run, play, dance, or hold her little musical instrument like she once did. Every day she asks me:

<div>"Mama, when will I walk again?"
</div>
<div>"When can I play? When will I dance and make music like before?"
</div>

<div>Hala urgently needs complex surgery and advanced medical care — treatment we cannot access here. We need to travel abroad to save her legs… and to save her childhood.

<div>She deserves to live. To laugh. To run free. To be a child again — not to suffer in silence beneath the roof of a tent.
