Hello there!  My names Griffin (he/they) and I’m trying to save for top surgery. I struggle with debilitating gender dysphoria and I am hoping to start testosterone soon but the nhs waiting lists are years long. Whilst testosterone will help my gender dysphoria it won’t help the immense discomfort my chest brings me. I will be paying for both testosterone and top surgery out of pocket because I cannot cope waiting years for an nhs gender clinic appointment. I am going to be getting top surgery abroad as it will be considerably cheaper. Top surgery in the uk is upwards of 10 Grand however it could be around £5500 including travel costs if I go abroad for it. Whilst not ideal circumstances this is the best option for me financially. Any donation is greatly appreciated. GoFundMe has a £5 minimum so if you can only give £1 or even 50p I’m happy to arrange a different payment option. I will be setting up an eBay account to sell some stuff that will also go towards top surgery funding. Thank you so much for your support even if you can’t donate I appreciate you listening to my story.
