<div><strong>Edgar Hernandez Gomez was racially profiled and detained by ICE in South Gate on State St and Southern Ave on 12/2/2025 at 10:40am only for being Latino.</strong> He was houseless and was looking for ways to bring himself out of a difficult situation through the help of local family who had offered him food and shelter and an opportunity to establish himself. <strong>He's currently being detained under extremely inhumane conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center.</strong>
