<div>She came here to the US to just visit my sister in California and me here in Georgia. On the day of August 1st, I came home from work and we had breakfast as the usual. She then complained of a <strong>sudden severe headache</strong>. She was <strong>screaming</strong> and <strong>crying</strong>. She was very nauseous and started vomiting.
</div>
<div>I was very concerned of her having another stroke so I rushed her immediately to <strong>Piedmont Augusta</strong> <strong>Emergency Department</strong>. They immediately took care of her, did all the scans and gave us the room down in the ED. While we were waiting, she complained of chest pain and I immediately her Nurse about it. They took several EKGs and it showed that <strong>she is having a heart attack </strong>and<strong> </strong>her<strong> blood work then showed that she needed immediate blood transfusions</strong>. After the first bag of blood, she started to have labored breathing. She had <strong>respiratory failure</strong> and that is when they <strong>intubated</strong> her.

<div>It had been almost a month since that happened. She is still in the <strong><em>Cardiovascular (CV) Intensive Care Unit (ICU).</em></strong> She is struggling but she is still <strong><em>fighting</em></strong>.
