 Aloha family, friends, and community. We are raising support for my <strong>‘Ohana, including our newborn, as we recover from the devastation Hurricane Lala caused to our site in Nāʻālehu.</strong> We are deeply grateful that our family made it through the storm safely, but the damage left behind has been overwhelming. <strong>Severe storm and water intrusion destroyed furnishings, interior contents, and important infrastructure.</strong> While the main structures are still standing, much inside was lost. This site was not only a home, but also a healing sanctuary and primary source of income that helps sustain our family. Losing that livelihood suddenly has created an enormous burden at a time when we’re already stretched as new parents. This site has also been a healing space for many in our community, and it means so much to us to be able to restore what has been offered there.
