<div>Hi, my name is Meredith.  I’m starting this GoFundMe for my brother Eric who is in need of life-saving medical help and has no insurance to pay for the costs. Applying for Medicaid will take time, and he and his wife have no income now because she needs to take family leave to take care of him. I’m trying to raise money to help them. <div>Eric is my big brother, my middle brother, my first best friend—mostly because he’d watch cartoons with me on Saturday mornings, and treated me like his arch nemesis and his kid sister. He is an incredible artist, and he’s a good man with a good heart. He’s our family. The one who remembers birthdays and sends holiday greetings, and cracks jokes, and loves puns. He’s who I think of first when I hear the Allman Brothers because of all those hours we’d spend blasting those albums on summer days growing up in NYC in the 1970s.
