<div>Hi everyone, I ran into a huge financial setback during tour, my van’s transmission gave out in Boise, ID (literally our third show) This van was my pride and joy — bought it just 7 months ago for $9,000 — and it’s been our lifeline for getting to shows. I thought this van would last me 2-3 years but unfortunately, it can’t make it back home to Chicago without major repairs.

<div>Instead of canceling the shows, we scrambled to rent a van to finish the tour, which cost us $2,000 we didn’t budget for. Now, when I get home, I still have to figure out how to get my broken van shipped back from Boise and repaired. It’s a heavy unexpected hit for a DIY solo artist like me.
