<div>On December 6th, a catastrophic bushfire tore through parts of Koolewong, NSW, leaving my sister Elyse and her family with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Elyse, her boyfriend, her mother, and her 1-year-old son luckily escaped the flames. While we are deeply grateful they are safe, their home—and every belonging inside it—has been completely destroyed.
