I’m a student at Bradfield Secondary School and I’ve been given an incredible opportunity — in 2027, I’ll be travelling to Kenya with Camp International for a 4-week volunteer expedition that will help change lives — including my own.

<div>This trip will allow me to work directly with local organisations, assisting in projects that focus on education, healthcare and sustainable living. The need for support in these areas in profound, as many individuals and families face challenges that hinder their growth and well being.

<div>I’m passionate about making a difference. I’m studying French, History, and Health &amp; Social Care for my GCSEs, and I dance with Dance Dynamics, a brilliant local dance school that’s taught me discipline, confidence, and resilience.

<div>The communities I will be working with will have little income other than the subsistence farming, with drought, infertile soils and crop sabotage from wildlife, it is no wonder there often isn't enough food to go around.
