He is only <strong>54</strong>, but he’s now battling a serious and worsening medical crisis — and he urgently needs <strong>24/7 care</strong> and a <strong>safe place to live</strong>.

<div>Spencer graduated from <strong>Parker College of Chiropractic</strong>, where he was loved and respected — <strong>the funny guy in the talent shows</strong>, the one everyone remembered. Spencer is also the grandson of <strong>Ray Montgomery</strong>, one of the original founders of the <strong>Suicide &amp; Crisis Prevention Center in Dallas</strong> and a long-time Dallas philanthropist. Spencer inherited that legacy of helping people in their darkest moments — and he truly lived it.

<div>Over the years, Spencer endured major trauma, including <strong>multiple concussions</strong>, a <strong>childhood drowning incident</strong>, and a devastating <strong>car accident</strong> with serious <strong>brain injury</strong>.

<div>Due to a combination of complex neurological, psychiatric, and physical conditions, <strong>he cannot be safely left alone</strong>.

<div><strong>The Other Emergency: His Home</strong>
</div>

<div>Because of his cognitive decline and medical instability, Spencer’s home has become <strong>severely damaged</strong>, unsafe, and unlivable. Necessary repairs and restoration may exceed <strong>$200,000</strong>, or we may need alternative safe housing.

<div><strong>Spencer has only SSDI and Medicare</strong>, which do not come close to covering what is truly needed.
</div>
<div>His wife, <strong>Connie</strong>, has cared for him faithfully for more than a decade — but Spencer’s needs have become more than one person can carry alone.
