<div>Because Demou is waiting to appeal, he is not receiving any support (financial or housing) from the Home Office. Before coming to the UK, Demou was working as a security guard in  Kinshasa in the Congo.  But since arriving in England, the Home Office have told Demou that he is not eligible to work. We're raising money for basic living costs to help Demou finance his needs here in the UK.
