<div>Being forced to become a single parent in the US and managing cross border custody would be an extremely difficult and heartbreaking situation for ALL of us.

<div>While I possess a Canadian University degree, speak fluent French and now have a Canadian child, I currently have NO official rights in Canada— which includes access to healthcare, social programs and employment.
