<div>On June 4, 2025, my friend DeAnna Elsey lost her father suddenly and unexpectedly in a tragic accident. <strong>Dean Elsey, a resident of Bonneau Beach, left for the day with his boat to do some fishing, a hobby that he very much enjoyed.</strong> Dean, an amputee, was attempting to dock his boat when he took a fall. Tragically, he lost his life.

<div>Dean was very much an outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending his free time out on the beautiful Lake Moultrie where he resided. Aside from his extracurriculars, Dean had also dedicated his life to the Lord. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, his 3 children, grandchildren, and his beloved dogs.
