Their main need is for funds to cover legal fees, which could be as much as 10,000.

<div>"I am a risk analysis practitioner with a master’s degree in international affairs and broad experience in the private and public sectors. I arrived in the US in 2024 with my wife (who is also a master’s degree holder with experience in the humanitarian sector), and our two daughters, escaping political persecution in our home country. We arrived through the CHNV Humanitarian Parole program, which was abruptly revoked by the Trump administration, which also revoked our work permits until authorities review our asylum case. The legal costs, including attorney fees, court filings, and related administrative expenses, have exceeded my current financial capacity.
