<div>Dylan is a 6 year old lab who has been my service dog for the last 4 ish years. We were paired together in 2019, and she's been my best friend ever since. This last May we found a bump on her side that was medium to large sized, it wasn't affecting her much so I thought it was fine. Over the last month, I've been taking her to the vet to get an idea about what was happening. This last week 10/7/25, Dylan had an ultrasound and the findings were not great. Ultrasounds are not a sure fire thing however. Working with her vet Dr. Battle at Arguello Pet Hospital we've come up with the next steps. Which are doing a biopsy of the bump and getting the samples tested, and two x-rays of her torso area to check for spread of whatever it is (Cancer or something else). I'm a college student who works a part time workstudy job, and as much as I want to be in a place where I can, there is no way for me to br able to cover the bills for her upcoming care.

<div>It is hard to put into words what Dylan means to me, being paired with her saved my life. Allowed me to go to college, and live as independent of a life as I can. My goal with all of this is to keep her quality of life as good as possible. To do that I, we, need help.
