<div>He was not getting enough insulin so his body started to break itself down for energy. He has always been a hungry fat cat, weighing around 20lbs but he now weighs 14lbs and lost his interest in food. Because of this, he wasn't eating, drinking, or using the litter. Additionally, he had a UTI, which only added to the issues.

<div>In order to help his condition, he has been administered IV fluids, a blood sugar monitor, and had his levels closely monitored to help determine how much insulin he should be receiving.
