<div><strong>1 1/2 years ago, Connie had to flee a physically abusive spouse who also subversively drained her of her retirement savings.</strong> Consequently, she has been dragged into a nasty divorce. The legal system has failed her miserably. Her church has shamefully failed her. She is homeless, broke, in desperate need of good legal representation, and just recently, her loyal companion of 8 years, Jack, a Labradoodle, required emergency surgery for GVD and a several-day hospital stay, which she has no way to pay.
