Colin, Nadja and Max moved from Vancouver to make a new home in Powell River in September of 2018. At the beginning of this April, just before Max’s 2nd birthday Colin started to feel unwell. In early June, Colin was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in his small intestine and it has spread to other areas. It is a very rare and aggressive type of cancer. Colin has started chemotherapy and the family is going through a lot of struggle as they navigate this journey. We want to help this family with the expenses that are accruing and that are needed for medical and living costs, loss of wages, childcare needs, supplements, dietary needs and travel during this time. Any amount of support will go a long way in providing comfort for Colin, Nadja and little Max.
