<div>In the early summer of 2025, Cherri suffered a number of serious medical complications following what should have been routine surgery. These included blood clots in her heart and lungs, requiring additional surgeries, and also a significant stroke. At this writing, Cherri has no use of the right side of her body and is unable to speak. (If you knew Cherri, you'd know what a misery that last bit is!)

<div>As her friends, we are committed to getting Cherri the best care possible to give her the best shot at recovery. She is working hard to get back as much functionality as she can, BUT Medicaid pays very little of her costs.
