<div>At 26 years old, Cheri’s life changed in an instant when a severe car accident left her fighting for her life. After weeks in a coma and months of intensive rehabilitation, she found herself locked in her own body from the nose down, caused by a midbrain hemorrhage, and a brain stem stroke. Her life was going to look completely different now.

<div>But nearly 38 years later, Cheri has refused to let her disability define her. Through countless challenges, adventures, and a strong support system, she has discovered that God was working through her story all along.

<div>Luke5Adventures exists to help people experience adventures they might not otherwise be able to experience. Through our Hike of a Lifetime program, volunteers carry and support people with disabilities so they can experience the beauty of the outdoors.
