<div>I’ve been in and out of jail since I was 18 years old. I’m now 47, and after years of addiction, pain, and incarceration, I never imagined the greatest loss of my life would be losing my oldest son to a drug overdose this past April.

<div>His death changed me forever.
</div>
<div>For the first time, I stopped running from the truth. Addiction doesn’t only destroy the person using—it destroys families, children, and generations. I realized if I didn’t heal, the cycle would continue.

<div>Today, I’m asking for help.
</div>
<div>I want therapy. I want recovery. I want guidance and support from people who understand addiction and healing. I don’t want to lose another child, and I don’t want my story to end the same way it began.
