<div>Last week, Hurricane Melissa devastated Jamaica, leaving behind destruction, heartbreak, and loss. Many families lost their homes, loved ones, cars, and belongings. To this day, many are still without electricity, running water, food, or clothing.

<div>My family and I, though based in Connecticut, are doing everything we can to help. We are from Catherine Hall, Montego Bay, and we still own a home there. Every house was completely wrecked by flooding. Currently, the homes are filled with mud, furniture and appliances are destroyed, there is no electricity or water, and it's very difficult to communicate with loved ones.

<div>We are traveling to Jamaica this Friday to begin cleaning up the property and helping neighbors whose only homes were destroyed. Our goal is to support Catherine Hall families who are struggling to rebuild from nothing.
