Her doctor told her she could no longer work, and while she waited seven long months for disability, her life savings were depleted just trying to survive and keep up with daily needs.

This requirement is in place because after her transplant procedure, Carolyn will need to relocate near UCLA for three months so she can remain close to her medical team and receive the care and monitoring she will need during recovery. We are doing everything we can, but this need is more than we can carry alone. Your support will help us meet this transplant requirement, cover the expenses tied to her lung transplant journey, and give my mom the chance to keep moving forward toward a healthier future.
