Carmen, whose ability to work full‑time is limited due to childcare responsibilities, is actively looking for part‑time work to cover her family’s basic needs, including the costs of her ongoing follow‑up cancer care. In the meantime, she continues to need our support to make ends meet.

<div>Last October, Manuel, who has been a beloved member of our community for 20 years, was taken by ICE while picking up breakfast for his family. His partner, Carmen, and their two young children—a 3‑year‑old son and a 2‑year‑old daughter—have been left heartbroken, frightened, and struggling to get by without him.

<div>Carmen is also a cancer survivor. She is doing everything she can to keep her children safe while covering legal fees to fight for Manuel’s release and continuing to pay for the lifesaving cancer treatment she previously received.
