<div>Hurricane Melissa has left devastating damage across Jamaica, and the small community of Amity in Westmoreland was hit especially hard. My husband Cardel’s mom and grandma are among those who lost nearly everything in the storm. Their homes were severely damaged — roofs torn off, belongings destroyed, and access to food and clean water has become extremely limited.
