<div>Hello, my name is Caleisha, and I live in Illinois. I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my family in Jamaica, who were <strong>devastated by Hurricane Melissa</strong>, a Category 5 storm that recently struck the island.

<div>The hurricane destroyed homes, personal belongings, and entire livelihoods. Many of my relatives have<strong> lost everything</strong> — including items that can never be replaced. They are now struggling to find shelter, clothing, food, and other basic necessities.

<div>While I’m grateful to be safe here in the U.S., my heart is breaking for my family back home. I’m doing everything I can to support them from afar, but I can’t do it alone.
