<div>Every day, Sema Hadithi (“Say’mah Hah’deetee,” meaning Tell the Story) works to uncover, preserve, and share the Black history of Utah—stories of families, soldiers, teachers, entrepreneurs, pioneers, and everyday people whose legacies shaped this state.

<div>This work is urgent. Our history is fragile, scattered, endangered by time, and too often overlooked.

<div>We are raising essential funds for general operating support—the backbone of our work. These funds keep research teams in the field, oral histories recording, archives digitizing, exhibits traveling, and community programs running. They ensure our organization has the capacity, staffing, and tools to grow toward the vision of establishing Utah’s Black History Museum.
