<div><strong>Help Bring Mercutio: A Musical Concept to PRIDEFEST NYC!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi everyone — Gregor and Easton here!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are thrilled to share that <em>Mercutio: A Musical Concept</em>, Gregor’s original musical, has been selected to be part of the Off-Broadway Summer Festival PRIDEFEST at The Tank in New York City this summer!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We can’t wait to bring this show to life and continue developing the piece. However, independently producing theatre — especially new work — comes with significant costs. That’s why we’re asking for your support!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Your donations will help us:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Rent rehearsal space in New York City
</li>
<li>Host a developmental lab process
</li>
<li>Provide stipends for our actors and crew who are bringing this story to life
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>About the Show:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>What if the greatest love story in the world was a lie — and the real tragedy was a love so tangled it destroyed them all?</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>The story of Romeo &amp; Juliet you know is not true — and Mercutio is here to tell you what really happened.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>"Mercutio and the band from Verona are in NYC for</em><strong><em> </em></strong><em>TWO NIGHTS ONLY, telling the </em><strong><em>TRUE</em></strong><em> story of the infamous star-crossed lovers through their debut album."</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Mercutio: A Musical Concept</em> is a modern reimagining of Romeo &amp; Juliet, told through original music inspired by alternative, indie, folk, and musical theatre genres.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This piece was previously workshopped at the historic Springer Opera House in Georgia — and now it's headed to New York City!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to celebrating Pride season with a brand-new story centered around love, identity, and liberation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you prefer to donate anonymously, you’re welcome to do so — just check the box on GoFundMe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for supporting queer art, new musicals, and young artists taking big swings. We can’t wait to share Mercutio with you.
</div>
<div>Happy Pride!
