<div>We are Mariella Ruiz de Somocurcio and Isabella Michell, <strong>two Peruvian friends on a shared mission to create change through creativity and community.</strong>

<div>Over the past few years, we’ve joined forces to support <strong>Asociación Sembrando Esperanza (ASE)</strong> - a small but powerful grassroots organization that offers creative workshops and essential support for children and families in Carapongo, one of the areas most affected by Lima’s 2017 floods that left the area without any means.

<div><strong>A New Challenge in Huacho</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This year, ASE has relocated its activities to Huacho Chico, where the <strong>community is now facing a new and urgent challenge: access to clean water.</strong>
</div>
<div>Together, we are raising £5,250 to help build a Community Water Well that will provide safe water for more than 1,000 families in the Centenario area of Huacho, as well as for the workshops that continue empowering children and women in the region.
</div>

<div><strong>The Project</strong>

<div>Construction of a 25-meter-deep water well with concrete sealing.
</div>
<div>Installation of an electric submersible pump and two water distribution points.
</div>
<div>Includes metal fencing, storage tanks, and electrical installation to ensure long-term sustainability.
</div>
<div>Total cost: S/ 23,100 (approx. £5,250).
</div>

<div>Somos Mariella Ruiz de Somocurcio e Isabella Michell, dos amigas peruanas unidas por una misma misión: generar un impacto positivo a través de la creatividad, la comunidad y la acción colectiva.
</div>
<div>Durante los últimos años hemos trabajado junto a la Asociación Sembrando Esperanza (ASE), una pequeña pero poderosa organización de base que brinda talleres creativos y apoyo esencial a niños y familias de comunidades vulnerables. Inicialmente colaboramos en Carapongo, una de las zonas más afectadas por las inundaciones que golpearon Lima en 2017.

<div>Un nuevo desafío en Huacho Chico
</div>
<div>Este año, ASE ha trasladado sus actividades a Huacho Chico, donde la comunidad enfrenta una necesidad urgente: el acceso a agua potable.
</div>
<div>Junto a ellos, estamos recaudando £5,250 para construir un Pozo Comunitario de Agua Potable, que beneficiará a más de 1,000 familias del sector Centenario en Huacho, además de apoyar los talleres que continúan empoderando a niños y mujeres de la zona.

<div>Construcción de un pozo de agua de 25 metros de profundidad con revestimiento de concreto.
</div>
<div>Instalación de una bomba eléctrica sumergible y dos puntos de distribución de agua.
</div>
<div>Implementación de cerco metálico, tanques de almacenamiento e instalación eléctrica para garantizar su sostenibilidad a largo plazo.
</div>
<div>Costo total del proyecto: S/ 23,100 (aproximadamente £5,250).
