<div><strong>Imagine being 30 years old, in the prime of your life, and suddenly losing everything to a pain so severe you can’t even sit at your own dinner table.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After years of being told to "just wait," we finally have a diagnosis that explains Brandon’s agony: <strong>A Rare Sacral Tarlov Cyst.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To understand the scale of what Brandon is fighting, you have to understand the numbers. In the rare cases where these cysts are found, a 1.5cm cyst is considered "large" and enough to cause significant disability.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Brandon’s cyst is 4cm.</strong>
</div>
<div>It is a "giant" cyst that is actively crushing the nerve roots at the base of his spine. It is the reason he cannot sit, why his urinary system is failing, and why he feels like he is being electrocuted from the inside out every single day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Reality: Alberta Cannot Save Him.</strong>
</div>
<div>We have learned the hard way why the local system has failed him. There are fewer than 10 neurosurgeons in the entire world who are experienced and knowledgable enough to operate on a cyst of this size and complexity. Because it is so rare and so large, the expertise Brandon needs simply does not exist in Canada.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Without specialized surgery, Brandon’s "wait" isn't just a delay—it is a sentence to permanent nerve damage and a life of total disability.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our New Mission: The $85,000 Goal</strong>
</div>
<div>We are no longer just fighting for "monthly bills." We are fighting to get Brandon out of the country to one of the few specialists who can give him his life back.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The $85,000 goal will go toward:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Out-of-Country Surgical Costs:</strong>
</div>
<div>Specialized neurosurgery and hospital stays at a dedicated Tarlov Cyst center.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Medical Travel &amp; Transport: </strong>
</div>
<div>Due to the intense sacral pain Brandon experiences we must coordinate specialized travel plans to ensure he can safely reach the surgeon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Post-Operative Recovery:</strong> Intensive neurological rehabilitation and medications during the months-long healing process.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Survival for the Household:</strong> Allowing Tyra to step away from her 14-hour shifts to be Brandon's caregiver during his travel and recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why Your Help Matters Now More Than Ever:</strong>
</div>
<div>Brandon is 30 years old. He is a tradesman who wants to work, a partner who wants to provide, and a man who deserves to live without a "fire" in his nerves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are asking you to help us bridge the gap between a failing local system and a life-saving global cure. Every dollar is a mile closer to the surgery that will stop the damage and bring Brandon home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you cannot donate, please share this update. The more people who see this, the better chance we have of reaching the specialists who can save him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />

<div><em>*A Note on This Campaign’s Management:</em>
</div>
<div><em>My name is Brandy, and I am a close friend of Brandon and Tyra. I am helping to manage this GoFundMe on their behalf because, right now, their focus needs to be entirely on Brandon’s health and Tyra’s grueling work schedule.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Thank you for trusting me to help them navigate this. If you have any questions about how the funds are being used or want to send a personal message to Brandon and Tyra, please feel free to reach out through the "Contact" button on this page.*</em>
