<div>Hi, my name is Ayaan Syed, and I’m a 14-year-old volleyball player from Chelmsford, Essex.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What started as a fun hobby playing with my dad and sister in our back garden during lockdown has now become the proudest achievement of my life: <strong>I've been selected to play for the England Under-17 national team.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm a Setter (Playmaker) and I now have the incredible opportunity to represent my country on the international stage.
</div>

</div>
<div>Over the past few years, volleyball has taught me so much about discipline, teamwork and improved my confidence as a person. I’ve worked tirelessly to achieve my goals and that hard work has finally paid off:

<div>Being selected for England U17 is a dream come true. This October, I'll be heading to the NEVZA tournament in Denmark, which is a qualifier for the European Championships. It's the first step on a journey I hope will one day lead me to a volleyball scholarship in the USA.
