<div>My name is Alex, and this is a very difficult post for me to share. On September 23, 2025, my life changed forever. While on my way to work, I was suddenly attacked by a black bear. I suffered serious injuries to my collarbone, ribs, and leg and had to undergo emergency surgery. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive. A passing truck scared the bear away and likely saved my life. While I’m thankful to still be here, recovery has been extremely hard. Not just physically, mentally but now financially. <strong>I’ve always been the provider for my family, but right now I’m unable to work and have no income coming in.</strong> My paid time off has run out, and I’ve fallen behind on rent and other bills. I even had to give up my car, and I’m scared about how I’ll keep a roof over my kids’ heads. <strong>If anyone is able to help in any way, it would mean the world to me and my family.</strong> I’m doing everything I can to heal and get back on my feet, with faith that better days are ahead.
