<div>At 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the intersection of South State Avenue and East Raymond Street on a report of a personal injury accident. The intersection is just east of Interstate 65.

<div>Officers found at least two vehicles and a bicyclist were involved. Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services arrived to the scene and pronounced at least one person dead.Investigators believe a white Dodge Charger was traveling eastbound on East Raymond Street at an extremely high rate of speed and ran a red light. After running the red light, the Charger struck a silver Honda Civic being driven by a woman. The Charger then struck a man on a bicycle that was towing a trailer with a child onboard.
